Tabletop | Dive Bar Darlin
The Signature Canvas of the Dive Bar Darlin’ Collection
Every good night leaves a little evidence behind.
The Dive Bar Darlin’ Tabletop Needlepoint Canvas is the heart of the collection—a bird’s-eye view of the beautiful mess left behind when the night is nowhere near over. Set against deep pool-table green, the design is scattered with all the little pieces of a night out: playing cards, an 8-ball, lipstick and compact, sunglasses, a lighter, cigarettes, an overflowing ashtray, a drink, a forgotten purse, and the kind of odds and ends that tell a story all on their own.
It feels like walking into your favorite neighborhood dive after midnight. The jukebox is still playing. Somebody’s halfway through a game of pool. There’s lipstick on the glass, smoke hanging in the air, and a purse tossed down because its owner has absolutely no intention of going home yet.
More than anything, this canvas is what Dive Bar Darlin’ is about: the nostalgia of places that aren't polished and don't want to be. The bars with worn stools and sticky floors. The places where everybody has a story, nobody needs to impress anybody, and some of the best nights of your life probably started with just one drink.
Each little object gives you something different to stitch, making this a larger, more involved project with plenty of opportunities to play with fibers, textures, and decorative stitches. And once finished, it becomes a snapshot of the whole collection in one piece.
A little Southern. A little trashy. A little sentimental. And a whole lot of story.

A Note About Printed Canvases
Each Stitching Hour canvas is professionally printed directly onto mono needlepoint canvas using a UV printing process. Because needlepoint canvas is an open woven material rather than a solid surface, minor variations in where the printed color falls in relation to the canvas intersections can naturally occur. You may occasionally encounter a stitch where the color placement requires a little stitcher's judgment.
These small variations are a normal part of printing on needlepoint canvas and do not affect the overall design or finished piece.
